In addition to AREACH programs, DC Young Fly (John Whitfield) helped establish The Level up Holiday Drive, a one-time grant and scholarship giving program. This drive offered financial assistance to further the academic and entrepreneur success for minority youth in Atlanta communities. The program exposed many youths to positive growth through a community event while offering free haircuts, hair styling, music, food, and gift card giveaways. The event exceeded our goals due to DC Young Fly bighearted actions of passing out cash to families during the event.
